Panasonic releases two new cameras

Panasonic rolls out a couple of digital cameras in the form of the DMC-FX33 and the DMC-FX55. Both of these models share many similarities in terms of features, ranging from the 8.1 megapixel resolution to the anti-blurring filter, while utilizing the same 28mm lens and 3.6x optical zoom. It can recognize up to 15 faces at a time with each shot, and size seems to be the separating factor between both cameras. The FX33 is the slimmer version, sacrificing the size of its LCD display in order to end up smaller. While pink and silver colors are available for either cameras, the FX33 will also come in white, but the FX55 ditches that for black. There is no word on pricing details but both cameras ought to hit retail stores on August 25th.
